Usage

Universal – e-bikes, electric scooters, go-karts, etc.

    This throttle is a universal twist throttle assembly, commonly used in e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-carts to allow the user to control motor speed. Modeled after a motorcycle throttle, it mounts on the handlebar and is operated by twisting the grip. Inside, it uses a Hall effect sensor mechanism: as you rotate the throttle, a magnet passes by a sensor which outputs a corresponding voltage (typically ranging from about 0.8 V at zero throttle to 4.2 V at full throttle, with 5 V supplied to it from the controller). The vehicle’s controller reads this voltage and modulates the motor power accordingly.
