The MY6812 12V 100W motor is a popular compact DC motor well-suited for smaller electric vehicles and DIY builds. Running on 12 V supply, it achieves about 2750 RPM under load (around 3550 RPM at no-load), giving your scooter or mini bike a zippy performance. Though smaller in output than its 150W counterpart, this 100W motor still provides a solid torque of approximately 0.45 N·m, which is sufficient for powering lightweight scooters, kids’ ride-ons, or driving mechanisms in robots. The motor’s low no-load current (<0.6 A) and moderate full-load current (~7 A) mean it’s quite efficient and won’t drain batteries too quickly. 

Constructed as a permanent-magnet brushed motor, the MY6812 100W is valued for its robustness and simplicity. It features an 11-tooth sprocket pre-fitted for a #25 (1/4″ pitch) chain drive, which makes it easy to integrate with bicycle chains or scooter drive chains. The output shaft is 8 mm in diameter and includes a threaded end to secure the sprocket. The motor’s housing is made from sturdy aluminum alloy, providing durability while keeping weight low (about 1.05–1.1 kg). This motor is extremely simple to use – to run it forward or reverse, you simply apply 12 V DC and swap polarity to change direction. It’s commonly found in electric ride-on toys, small e-bicycles, portable conveyors, or even combat robots, thanks to its balance of lightweight and decent power output. Overall, the MY6812 100W motor is a reliable “little workhorse” DC motor for any project needing around 0.1 kW of power.
